DESCRIPTION:In 2025\, our Motor Club celebrates its 70th birthday\, and as we celebrate that birthday\, we can be proud of having reached 300 current members and two major regional bases for people to come together as part of a community that appreciate motoring in all its forms\, with as many or as few wheels as you might wish. \nTo celebrate this occasion\, we have been offered the opportunity to have a suite at Donington on 4th May for the Donington Historic Festival (https://www.doningtonhistoric.com/). This unique experience includes entrance tickets\, suite entry all day\, breakfast rolls\, lunch\, afternoon tea\, house beers\, wines and soft drinks from 11 am to end of racing. Parking is in a dedicated area for VIP’s and we expect to be able to secure parking passes at a rate of 1 for every 2 people attending. \n*special club price*\nWe have secured our own private suite for the days events with discounted tickets at £120 instead of the usual £156\, saving 23% \nFor those of you who know Donington\, we hope to secure the first suite in the Redgate row\, overlooking the scrutineering bay\, end of the pit lane\, and the first box nearest the start line. \n \n– – – \nThe minimum number of people required to book one of the two suites available to us is 25. If we can get 50 people\, we can take both suites. \nNote: ticket prices reflect us filling the full capacity of 50 people. \nThe first 25 tickets sold means we will use one suite. If we meet 25 but not close enough to 50 ticket sales\, the ticket price may need to increase a little per person\, or we will have to refund tickets sold beyond 25 spaces as we'll not have sufficient numbers to cover the cost of the 2nd suite. \n– – – \nProvisional timetable:

SUMMARY:Curborough Sprint Track Day – 2025-1
DESCRIPTION:RReMC have hired the Curborough Sprint Course on Saturday 3rd May. We’ll be running a full-day event with an ‘open pit-lane’ format; so you can get as many laps in as you and your vehicle can handle all day! \nIf this is your first time doing a track event\, Curborough is the ideal starting point for a challenging and yet easy to learn track\, and if it’s your 31st it’s time to improve and hone your skills. \nFull Day Ticket: The cost is £120 per vehicle.  You can split the cost with an additional driver if you wish (£35 for an additional driver)\, the limit will be on vehicles since this dictates the queue and time on track.\nYour fee covers track time and food / drink during the day. \nWe only have a maximum of 16 vehicles.  This helps to keep the costs down and the track time at a maximum! \nIf for any reason you can no longer attend\, we will be keeping a reserve list and help to fill your place where we can\, but this is not guaranteed. \nWhat can you expect?\nIf you’ve not been before\, expect an exciting day of racing around the sprint course in your vehicle as fast as you feel comfortable.  Being a sprint course\, you’ll get the track to yourself on each run\, which means plenty of chance to perfect your lines and improve your time.  And while you’re not on track\, there will be plenty of chance to check out each other’s vehicles\, spectate and generally have a good social.\nTrack time will be 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm \nWe are also including all day food and drinks served from the on-site catering team at The Sprinter’s Rest. \nWith free food / drink all day you get:\nA bacon / sausage breakfast cob\nA beef burger and chips or chicken curry and chips\nFollowed by cake nibbles after lunch\nTea/Coffee is provided throughout the day.\nVegetarian options available and additional food / upgrades can be purchased on the day. \nWhat do you need?\nA vehicle and a helmet (highly recommended). \nWhat’s the track like?\nShort but a lot of fun\, have a look here:\nhttps://www.curborough.co.uk/curborough-course-layout/ \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxEeNX7kcmA \n Important: \n\nPlaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis\, they don’t normally take long to go.  Don’t delay!\nNo payment\, no place!

SUMMARY:Curborough Sprint Track Day – 2024-2
DESCRIPTION:RReMC have hired the Curborough Sprint Course on Saturday 19th October. We’ll be running a full-day event with an ‘open pit-lane’ format; so you can get as many laps in as you and your vehicle can handle all day! \nIf this is your first time doing a track event\, Curborough is the ideal starting point for a challenging and yet easy to learn track\, and if it’s your 31st it’s time to improve and hone your skills. \nFull Day Ticket: The cost is £120 per vehicle.  You can split the cost with an additional driver if you wish (£35 for an additional driver)\, the limit will be on vehicles since this dictates the queue and time on track.\nYour fee covers track time and food / drink during the day. \nWe only have a maximum of 16 vehicles.  This helps to keep the costs down and the track time at a maximum! \nIf for any reason you can no longer attend\, we will be keeping a reserve list and help to fill your place where we can\, but this is not guaranteed. \nWhat can you expect?\nIf you’ve not been before\, expect an exciting day of racing around the sprint course in your vehicle as fast as you feel comfortable.  Being a sprint course\, you’ll get the track to yourself on each run\, which means plenty of chance to perfect your lines and improve your time.  And while you’re not on track\, there will be plenty of chance to check out each other’s vehicles\, spectate and generally have a good social.\nTrack time will be 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm. \nWe are also including all day food and drinks served from the on-site catering team at The Sprinter’s Rest. \nWith free food / drink all day you get:\nA bacon / sausage breakfast cob\nA beef burger and chips or chicken curry and chips\nFollowed by cake nibbles after lunch\nTea/Coffee is provided throughout the day.\nVegetarian options available and additional food / upgrades can be purchased on the day. \nWhat do you need?\nA vehicle and a helmet (highly recommended). \nWhat’s the track like?\nShort but a lot of fun\, have a look here:\nhttps://www.curborough.co.uk/curborough-course-layout/ \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxEeNX7kcmA \n Important: \n\nPlaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis\, they don’t normally take long to go.  Don’t delay!\nNo payment\, no place!\n\nSchedule: \n\n8am – gates open\n8:45 – drivers briefing (can do later ones if you arrive late)\n9am – track time can start\n1pm – lunch break\n2pm track re-opens\n5pm track time ends and track packup begins\n6pm gates close.
