SUMMARY:Curborough 2026
DESCRIPTION:RReMC have hired the Curborough Sprint Course on Saturday\, 7th February. We’ll be running a full-day event with an ‘open pit-lane’ format\, so you can get as many laps in as you and your vehicle can handle all day! \nIf this is your first time doing a track event\, Curborough is the ideal starting point for a challenging yet easy to learn track\, and if it’s your first\, it’s time to improve and hone your skills. \nFull Day Ticket: The cost is £130 per vehicle.  You can split the cost with an additional driver if you wish (£35 for each additional driver); the limit will be on vehicles since this dictates the queue and time on track.\nYour fee covers track time and food/drink during the day. \nWe have a limit of 16 vehicles.  This helps to keep the costs down and the track time at a maximum! \nIf\, for any reason\, you can no longer attend\, we will be keeping a reserve list and help to fill your place where we can\, but this is not guaranteed. \nWhat can you expect?\nIf you’ve not been before\, expect an exciting day of racing around the sprint course in your vehicle as fast as you feel comfortable.  Being a sprint course\, you’ll get the track to yourself on each run\, which means plenty of opportunities to perfect your lines and improve your time.  And while you’re not on track\, there will be plenty of chances to check out each other’s vehicles\, spectate and generally have a good social. \nTrack time will be 10:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 17:00. \nWe are also including all-day food and drinks served from the on-site catering team at The Sprinter’s Rest. \nWith Meal Deal food / drink all day\, you get:\nA bacon/sausage breakfast cob.\nA beef burger and chips\, or a chicken curry and chips.\nFollowed by cake nibbles after lunch.\nTea and coffee are provided throughout the day.\nVegetarian options are available\, and additional food/upgrades can be purchased on the day. \nWhat do you need?\nA vehicle and a helmet (mandatory). \nWhat’s the track like?\nShort but a lot of fun\, have a look here:\nhttps://www.curborough.co.uk/curborough-course-layout/ \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxEeNX7kcmA \n Important: \n\nPlaces will be allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis; they don’t normally take long to go.  Don’t delay!\nNo payment\, no place!\nYou can use Track Day vouchers to contribute to the cost of this event\nHelmets (no need to be FIA / MSUK approved) are now mandatory for all track participants\nNo more than one passenger

And best of all\, its Absolutely Free! \nWe have secured a slot to visit Meguiars HQ for a Detailing Seminar. This is an opportunity to bring along your own cars\, learn from the Professionals and then get hands on in their Detailing bay\, all free of charge. \nWhat can you expect? \nTypically\, the event runs as follows (subject to some minor changes): \n9:30-9:45 – Arrival Time: Tea & Coffee available inside the centre \n10:00 – Seminar Starts: 60-90 minute Detailing Seminar delivered by the Meguiars team with plenty of opportunities for questions! \n11:30-12:00 – Coffee Break\, Mingle & Walk Around \n12:00-13:30 – Hands on Demo: The team will pick a Club Members car to bring into the centre for a hand's on demonstration\, including having a go yourselves. More opportunity to quiz the team and learn about their products. \n13:30 – Wrap Up \nAttendance\n \nMeguiars offer these seminars free of charge\, but we do need to have at least 15 attendees\, so please help to spread the word within the club! It is time to get behind the wheel! \nJoin us for an evening “chippy-run” via some North Somerset countryside\, finishing at Chew Valley Reservoir\, where we can enjoy some traditional Fish & Chips from the famous Salt & Malt takeaway & restaurant.  Bring the daily\, the special or the project\, but most importantly\, bring yourself! This is all about meeting fellow members\, chatting and socialising! \nWe will meet the RR Filton site main car park on Thursday the 21st of May at 17:30 for a 17:45 departure.
