Get ready for an exciting day of precision and adventure with the RReMC’s Mad March Hare Scatter! This fun-filled navigational scatter rally promises a great time for drivers and navigators alike as you explore the local countryside in search of checkpoints.

What is a Navigational Scatter?

A navigational scatter is a test of your route-planning and map-reading skills. Teams will be provided with a list of grid references or locations. Your challenge is to visit as many of these locations as possible within the time limit—choosing your own route! It’s not about speed but strategy, as each location will offer different points. The team with the most points at the finish wins!

Event Details:

• Start Time: 7pm
• Start Location: Clock Warehouse, Shardlow
• Duration: Approx. 2 hours
• Entry Fee: £6 per team
• Classes: Open to all road-legal cars
• Team Composition: One driver and one navigator per car

How It Works:

1. Upon arrival, each team will receive a list of locations (checkpoints) marked by grid references.
2. Plan your own route to visit as many locations as possible within the given time frame.
3. Each checkpoint has a unique value; the more difficult it is to reach, the higher the points.
4. Return to the finish point within the allotted time to avoid penalties!
