Southwest Funkhana: Expression of interest

Following the success of this event in Derby, we are now inviting our Southwest members to express their interest if they want us to organise our first Southwest Funkhana!

If we have sufficient interest, we will organise our own Funkhana mid-September.

What’s a Funkhana?!

A Funkhana is a low speed competition of light-hearted games designed to test your driving skills. Think parallel parking against the clock…then add some humorous twists!
You must complete tasks that involve car handling, teamwork and especially a sense of humour. Funkhanas are good-natured, low-speed, safe events and are not hard on the cars.

Funkhana challenges range from sophisticated to silly. Teams are graded by a combination of time, accuracy, and points. By including an element of luck, everyone has a good chance of winning… or screwing up.

What will I need?

Entrants will need a vehicle with at least 3 wheels… however, some games require passengers, so you might be able to take part with a willing driver.

Can I spectate?

Yes!  It’s a very social and fun event.
You could also volunteer to help with some of the setup.

Does it cost anything?

RReMC members: £5 per vehicle
Non-members: £10 per vehicle (includes membership)
